Erie Prep Holds Emergency Response Training at DuPont

Personnel from Erie Prep spent this past week with members of the emergency response team at DuPont Circleville, Ohio.

Companies such as DuPont are regularly faced with the question of where do they fit in within the overall scheme of things in the incident command system (ICS)? The Erie Prep training this year helped answer this question as well as others. The sessions consisted of discussions and scenarios stressing DuPont's position after an emergency.

This years training served as a road map for DuPont to follow as they move towards a more effective hazardous materials response. According to one of the attendees, "This is helping me get the “big picture” of incident management."
